For Martela, printing out the annual report was a large investment each year. In addition, it was time-consuming and expensive to prepare printed financial statements: the data was compiled using several Excel and Word files, the content of which a layout employee put in place manually.

We offered Martela an alternative which is much more modern than the traditional printed annual report. Visualwebin Electronic Annual Report is not just an annual report in PDF format, but an electronic solution built on SharePoint technology.
Financial statements data is now automatically entered from Martela's financial department in the financial statements data in the annual report, which means that it does not need to be separately be laid out in the page template. The data can be updated in the master table up to the last minute, which reduces the amount of unnecessary revisions and minimizes the risk of errors. In the annual report, without restrictions, it is possible to add images, text, moving images and links.
Now that Martela has created an electronic annual report, Martela can utilize it in an extremely cost-effective way in the years to come.
